Gwen and George look forward to welcoming you to their stunning 200 year old converted barn, located in the pretty rural village of Nanclars in the heart of Poitou Charente. 

Set in beautiful, tranquil gardens ideal for a relaxing peaceful break. There are two sun terraces where you can enjoy a quiet read or indulge in a little sunbathing. For the more energetic there are a multitude of cycling paths and walkways right on your doorstep. Fishing can be arranged on request. 

If you prefer something a little more adventurous George, a falconer for over 20 years would be delighted to introduce you to a hawking experience with his american red tail falcons. 

For those who like a little more retail therapy there is the bastille city of Angouleme just a 20 minute drive away, where you can find shops, cinemas, restaurants and bars to idle away the balmy summer evenings.
